Service Description

This hands-on course introduces rescuers to the fundamental skills required to operate safely and effectively at structural collapse incidents. Students will develop practical skills in structural shoring, breaking and breaching, and lifting and moving heavy loads while emphasizing hazard recognition, load management, stabilization, and coordinated rescue operations. Training will include the construction and application of basic emergency shoring systems, safe techniques for breaching common structural materials, and the use of Paratech structural shores and airbags and cribbing to lift, stabilize and move heavy objects. The course is designed to establish a strong foundation for personnel preparing to operate in the structural collapse rescue environment.
