
Public Safety Diving
This program provides individuals with certifications and training in accordance with NFPA 1006 Chapter 19 Dive Rescue. The Public Safety Diving Course is designed to equip first responders, including law enforcement, fire departments, and search and rescue (SAR) teams, with the skills and knowledge necessary to safely and effectively perform underwater operations in a variety of public safety scenarios. This course provides comprehensive training in diving techniques, equipment, and safety protocols for underwater rescue, recovery, and investigation operations. Participants will gain hands-on experience with search patterns, victim recovery, evidence collection, and managing diving emergencies. Whether responding to drowning incidents, evidence retrieval, or submerged vehicle rescues, this course prepares responders to carry out public safety diving operations with confidence and competence.
